The Kickapoo Friends Center is currently directed by Brad and Christine Wood who have been working alongside one another in service to Christ for many years. It is through Christ's strength that Brad and Christine provide the Kickapoo Friends Center with God-inspired direction as they daily seek him for guidance and direction within their family, the Center, and the community at large.

Pastor and Co-Director
Bio: Brad moved to the Kickapoo Friends Center in 1974. Upon graduating from High School, he farmed in the area while assisting his parents at the Center. In 1984, he married Christine. Upon the death of his father in the fall of 1989, Brad assumed the role of Pastor and also that of Director after his mother, Janis, remarried and left to travel on evangelistic work with her husband. Brad maintains the facilities while farming and continuing outreach within the community.
Christine Wood
Co-Director
Bio: Christine is a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. She has worked at the Center since 1980. In 1984, she married Brad and has been directing the Center with Brad since 1989. Christine currently works with Kickapoo and other Native students in the McLoud Public Schools. She teaches English as a second language and helps tutor students who are struggling. Brad and Christine have two grown sons, Nathan and Joseph.
